I am alive.

I know, it seemed questionable since I have basically ignored my blog for almost 2 months, but in fact, I have not died.

My life has been a frenetic, busy mish-mash of running 17 directions at once and a constant overwhelming feeling of not being enough....but hey, that's pretty typical so I can't figure out why I blogging seemed to fall off the Earth.

Nonetheless, I am determined to be better.  This is the closest thing I have to a scrapbook of my life these days so it had better stay up to date or years from now I'll wonder, "What was I doing back then anyway?" without any way to tell. :)

So a super quick catch-up...deep breath....here goes:
29th birthday (semi-traumatic/felt old, but included a great trip to St. George/Las Veags and THE GARTH BROOKS SHOW - one of the most incredible nights of my entire life); reaccreditation interview with the ACCME (traumatic in a different way - the nauseating way - but we survived and will have results in March 2012....so I am still employed until then); a very gratitude-filled Thanksgiving (Turkey Bowl with loved ones, dinner with my family and then watching a soccer tournament with friends in St. George); put up a Christmas tree that I am very proud of, sending Christmas cards tomorrow, only a handful of presents still to buy - so secular-Christmas is on track; working my tail off trying to close out everything for the end of the year (sleeping minimal hours at this point, but hey, it's overrated anyway - right?); started a new "Total Health and Fitness Program" that involves tracking every piece of food I consume, my physical activity, and a life-style change on eating/drinking (no joke, it has put me in tears multiple times....I simply love really delicious food and whole-wheat, vegetable, super-healthy stuff doesn't cut it).

Okay.  I think those were the highlights.  I left out many items, but at least that will suffice for now.  Much more to come soon!
