So far my weekend has mostly consisted of time with family and friends up in Oakley, Utah. We had dinner on Friday evening at the cabin and then off to the Oakley Rodeo....with the same thing repeated on Saturday evening.
Here's Sara and I at the cabin (she didn't join us at the rodeo due to the baby). She thinks we look like sisters....I can only wish, gal - that would be my dream. ;)
On Friday I took a great friend of mine and we had a blast - it was his first time at a rodeo and his first time meeting my family so I laughed a lot! hahaha.....
On Saturday I took the mom of a dear friend I have been dating (as he is out of town).....which I was a little anxious about, but it turned out super. We had a fun time and she was sweet to say "thank you for thinking of me" about 8 times so I think she genuinely appreciated the invitation. Here's my cute parents at the rodeo too.
Oh, and yesterday I decided to celebrate America's birthday at Ann Taylor buying presents for myself.....come on, they were having their Independence Day sale for 40% off so they were practically begging me to spend money!
Speaking of America's birthday.....I was thought it was perfect that America's team (yes, The New York Yankees) won playing America's past time on America's birthday today. Aaaahhh.....what a delight. ;)More 4th of July celebration info later tonight!
