So I've been blog-MIA for awhile....things have been busy. You know how it goes...working, summer, travel, fun family times, coordinating a 5k charity event, planning a destination wedding....nothing like adding to an already full life.
When we were engaged, Chad and I decided we would go elope - and then after a few months we decided the kids and parents would probably not find that to be a great idea, so.....bring on the destination wedding. We are going to a surprise location at an undisclosed time (for most of the world - so if you are reading this blog and you know the date and/or location, consider yourself lucky). This "surprise" nature is not our preference, but a result of our current lives based on less-than-desirable choices of others around us. Although I wish it wasn't this way, there is something about that is a little fun when I tell people "it's a surprise" (in response to a wedding-related question) and they look at me as though I have lost my mind. :)
I will post lots of pictures and updates soon, but for now, I am alive and doing relatively well. Some days I am pretty sure I am developing a nervous twitch because there is so much going on and I am not able to keep up, but for the most part, the world is good.
