I can't help but post this, although anyone who knows me is well-aware I don't usually get involved in the men versus women debates, but I am intrigued by much of it, especially in the workforce. There is much to be said, as I will hear moms say that they need to solve a problem for their kids, as surely the dads "couldn't" do it. Really....? Was it really outside of their grasp? Or did you simply not allow them the chance? Perhaps both.
Regardless, and on the flip side, there are so few positive female role models in the business world. I am frequently surprised by it, as I don't think it's a capability issue, but many societal factors, some of which Sheryl Sandberg (COO of Facebook) mentions in the video below.
While I don't agree with all of her points entirely, I am intrigued by her comments and do agree with some....enough that I felt it worthy of my blog, and your review.
