Trust me, to those who talk about how much "fun it must be to be single", I will tell you that when stories drone on and I start practicing squeezing my inner thighs together for a workout under the table such that my night might have some redeeming quality of at least getting in a modified workout (as heaven knows neither the conversation nor Sysco-based food we are eating are fulfilling any need), I assure you that the paucity of intelligent and interesting men is real.
On a less cynical note, I am (somewhat) teasing, but this article did strike close enough to home that I had to laugh. ;)
