What a day.....I could not sleep last night (despite some normally fantastic medicine that should have been able to knock out a horse); I found myself staring at the clock at 1:30...2:00....2:30....3:00....3:30...and then I finally don't remember seeing it anymore. Good grief!
Needless to say, when my alarm went off a few hours later, I was like a zombie. And then....welcome to Utah - and a crazy amount of snow! Yikes!
Top that off with an out-of-control workload right now.....
By the time I left work, I was so worn out that it took all of my energy to drag myself to the car. You know you look terrible when even your own mother says, "Wow, you look drained" upon entering the room.... :(
Nonetheless, tomorrow is going to be better - I am sure of it. It's a holiday for Intermountain, but I will be working to get caught up and praying that it will make a difference in the piles of work on my desk and past due projects. It will be a nice, quiet day without the building full of people so I can get lots done and be super productive....I like days like that. By tomorrow night, I will gladly report that I have accomplished a great deal and no longer feel so overwhelmed.....I hope!
