Updated pics

Last week I was in New Orleans from Tuesday through late Saturday/early Sunday for a work meeting. The meeting content was awesome, the food was great, and the small amount of shopping I did was nice.


Here's the view from my hotel room - I was on the riverfront - it was quite pretty.


This was one of my meals (pork shank) and it was wonderful!

This was a display of our desserts (I was eating with my boss and a work colleague from the U of U - Dr. Dolcourt). I had the creme brulet - of course - and he had the banana cream pie. Yum!

One day the storms rolled in and it was really neat to hear the thunder and watch the rain across the river. I was hoping for a big storm, but it turned out to be somewhat moderate. Still, it was neat.

So that is my tiny photo journal from The Big Easy. Not many photos, but mostly I worked so that's to be expected. It was a great educational experience - I learned a ton at the meeting I attended so that was very exciting. I will be a much better CME professional as a result. :)
