Family birthday party

My darling family got together (minus a few) on Sunday evening for a little birthday party and we had a great time. I simply love them all. Here are a few pics.... (and honestly, I don't know what happened here - I didn't think I looked that run down when I left for the party but once I saw the photos, I was stuck wondering, "What happened here?", so yes, I am aware that I need a little help here. Yikes!)

My mom did soups in pumpkin-shaped bread bowls and lots of harvest-type food. She is such a little holiday entertaining gal. I love it!I made caramel-dipped apples as party favors! (I will be updating the Domestic Diva blog tomorrow with the caramel-dipped apples instructions and lots of pics so check that out if you have a desire to make some delicious fall treats) Unfortunately in the process of making the caramel apples I sliced my hand pretty deep so I now have it wrapped up and taken care of (hey, it's good to have an uncle as a hand surgeon!), but I feel like an idiot that I apparently don't know how to use a knife....although it does speak to the sharpness of the new knife I purchased and subsequently already had an accident with....Clearly I missed capturing photos of everyone so to the 10 or so people who are not shown above....I love you too and I'm sorry I didn't take enough photos. :)
