At the request of a respected friend, I have purchased two new books - although let's be honest, when do I have time to read anything non-work-related?Hence the point of his request.
So I am waiting for two new books to arrive - with expedited shipping and still less than $15 (thank you Amazon used books):
Margin: Restoring Emotional, Physical, Financial, and Time Reserves to Overloaded Lives

Beating Burnout : Balanced Living for Busy People : How to Beat Burnout, Before Burnout
Clearly, if I had time to read both of these books, I would not be so out of balance with my work-life. Right? Yes. So, perhaps the "magic" of these books is to simply carve out 15-30 minutes for yourself each day to read the book and then continue that marginal amount of self-devoted time after the book is complete.
Perhaps I have already seen through the scheme without even reading the books! If I learn any tips, they will be posted.
