I borrowed this from a blog I love to read (Marta Writes). Can't pass up a good list - anyone interested is tagged.
:: no matter what mood i'm in, i can always go for a: chips and salsa with dietCoke.
:: my favorite go-to outfit would have to be: jeans, long-sleeve tee, Yankee hat.
:: a good source of inspiration is: a stationary store.
:: am so glad my parents taught me: to have respect for my family.
:: a song i like to dance to is: anything by Michael Jackson!
:: i wish everyone knew about: the value of social grace.
:: the best thing in my makeup bag is: my flat brush for upperlid liner - thank you Libby!!
:: my dream spring break vacation spot is: Belize.
:: this may be a surprise, but i am passionate about: the value of music and athletics in the lives of children. I believe all kids should learn to develop a musical talent (even if they display a relatively limited amount of talent), as it builds crucial neurons in the brain and mental discipline; they should also participate in athletics to build self-esteem, develop good body habits, and make friends.
:: a favorite book that changed me for the better: Success is a Choice, by the Great Rick Pitino (one of the most respected collegiate coaches of our day - I am a big admirer of his).
:: one of my pet peeves is: those annoying people who resend emails if you haven't responded, as if by spamming you with "reminders" you will get back to them quicker. Nope - in fact, makes me respond slower because I have to read all 7 of your emails! Perhaps I'm bitter today....
:: my favorite daily ritual would have to be: singing in the car as I drive to work.
:: i am trying to be better at: skiing. I want to be so much better than I am currently.
:: the most recent rad thing i found online was: the What Are Words song by Chris Medina - a friend told me about the song and I am hooked. Bought it on Amazon today.
:: i can't live without: lots of photos in my house. I love to have pictures all over of my family and friends, as it makes me remember how blessed I am to have a wonderful circle of influence.
