It feels like awhile since I had a catch up post and a great deal has happened in the past few weeks...
- Went to the 2011 Utah Entertainment and Choice Awards with Vanessa and Denver. His studio (Dark Sun Studios) was up for the Film Award so we supported as part of the studio entourage; it was super fun. I met David Archuleta and Debbie Gibson! ....and the lingerie story was one of my favorite part of the night Vanessa! ;)
- I went to the U2 concert at Rice-Eccles Stadium with 4 of my favorite people. Thank you, thank you for one of the best concerts ever. I was not a huge U2 fan before the concert, but appreciated their music because of the impact they have on the industry (and of course knew all of the mainstream songs). Because of the concert, I became addicted and immediately downloaded two CDs within an hour of arriving home. I have pretty much only listened to U2 since the concert! Officially a huge fan - and hope for a road trip to see the 360 tour again before it ends!
- Tried to start my garden for about an hour on Saturday, but due to work obligations and the rain, it didn't work. Instead I am.....wait for it....taking a DAY.OFF.WORK. on Friday. Not kidding. A real day off. I am not even going to turn on my email or check it on my Blackberry. Okay, who am I fooling, we all know that I will be checking email all day, but at least I will be gardening in between messages.
- Had the opportunity to visit my adopted family in Cedar City on my way home from a work trip to St. George. I saw their new sweet baby too..... :) Way to go guys. Love you. I can't wait to come back down for the USG.
I have a HUGE work project due tomorrow. Clearly I am getting a mental break, but I digress, time to return to work. Happy Tuesday!
