The ticket on my desk

I have a ticket on my desk that I am looking at as I write this post.

It's from a Hinckley Institute of Politics event titled, "Mitt Romney - No Apology: The Case for American Greatness", dated Saturday, March 13, 2010.

On that day, my parents and I went to downtown Salt Lake and heard 2012 Republican Presidential Nominee, Mitt Romney.  It was an interesting and awesome night - and while I am certain that not all of my blog readers share my politics, I am proud to say that I was there and I was dazzled.

As I listened to him again tonight, accepting the nomination at the RNC, I was even more impressed.

Mitt, thanks for believing in America.  Thank you for tearfully talking about your family, demonstrating for impressionable boys across this nation that it's cool to love your family.  Thank you for being proud of success; I have hated that financial success and business drive have been looked down upon lately by those in the opposing party.  Thank you for your faith, which helps mine.

I believe in America too.
