- Went to Logan for a dinner last night and then meetings today. I got to eat and chat with the hottest gal in Logan.... ;) Love ya Julienne! Great meetings today too. Overall a wonderful little overnight visit.
- The Jazz. Enough said right there. What a delight to thump the Thuggets tonight.
- I secured a lawn mower this week and learned how to mow the lawn! It was a first - I have NEVER once mowed the lawn so it was quite an accomplishment. It was so easy....I can't help but wonder why this chore was always met with so much groaning before; it annoyed me that there was always so much grumbling about doing it, so it's a really good thing I didn't know how easy it is....that would have made me insanely mad. As for the edger....well, let's just say Round 1 was not a victory, but I am determined to take Round 2. I'm sure my dad and I looked hilarious trying to figure it out; obviously I haven't ever done it and my dad has had yardboys for my whole life so between the two of us, we were pretty ridiculous trying to work the stupid machine. hahaha
- I have been fighting a ferocious headache today. I left one of my medications at home when I packed for Logan (Topamax - anti-seizure med) and going without it has been miserable. The pills are tiny so you wouldn't think it would be the end of the world....but based on the headache I am currently experiencing, I am keenly aware of one of the reasons it's important I take this daily. Bah. Glad to be going to bed so I can take it now.
- I accepted a date with a darling boy and he sent me flowers today to say how excited he is to take me out.....what a gem! They are shamelessly beautiful and I must admit that I am a sucker for fresh flowers. I'm guessing this will be a much better experience than the previously blogged date!
- The perennials in my garden are finally starting to look fantastic.....(don't mind the weeds in these photos - I am doing massive amounts of yard work tomorrow to start prepping the beds for planting).

More photos to come tomorrow after the garden looks like a garden and not just a place of noxious weeds. Have a great Saturday!
Ahhh *sigh of relief* ... sounds MUCH better. :)
