Finally it is time for the official post....
My weekend dates were highly entertaining so I will post more about these tomorrow. For now, I am busy trying to decide if I will have a pink or a blue cupcake...
Congratulations to Jake & Jaimi! After many years of waiting, visits to many doctors/clinics, too much money to mention, and countless prayers - their parenting adventure will soon begin and their family will grow from 2 to 3.
Here's a picture of my parents holding the t-shirts they gave to make the official announcement last week while they were in Seattle.....I received this shortly after by text. :)
For the big announcement tonight to our extended family, I made pink and blue cupcakes for the family so we could all make guesses about the baby's gender.....ironically when all was said and done - we were left with the exact same number of pinks and blues. So, I guess we still don't have a solid guess regarding whether I will be shamelessly spoiling a niece or nephew.

Hey it was good to get a little comment from you... I hope everything is going well. I dont know if you knew, but I was married once before I married Nate and I know the divorce crap all too well. If you ever need a ear to vent to, I am here. But if you are like me at all, things got way better once I got the divorce than when I was married... so who knows, maybe you are doing great!
ReplyDeleteJust know that there are tons of people out there that have been divorced and that you are not alone. It anything, I felt tons more confident in my dating life after my divorce because it was like I had the confidence to just be like, "You're wasting my time," and I'd move on. I had no problem sitting at home on weekends and I had no problem telling boys that I wasn't interested.
Anyways, I hope you're doing well!!!
