Here's how I know I'm smart.
- I needed a new washer and dryer....and I'm a problem solver so I went and bought a new set.
- They were delivered to my grandparent's house the first week of December where they sat until it was time to install them in the house.
- Alex moved out on Saturday, removing the old washer and dryer, so on Sunday evening my family came over to help me install them. We realized it didn't come with any cords so I said I would go buy some on Monday and then hook it up myself.
- On Monday night, I went to Home Depot, described to them what the back of my dryer looked like, what the wall behind the dryer looked like and waited patiently for the magical answer of what I needed.....answer? A new dryer. Because I bought an electric dryer and have a gas hookup.
Wow, I am a rockstar.
After a fairly significant and tearful fall apart at Home Depot (don't judge - it had been a stressful Monday), I dragged myself home. I am a bright girl.....I know it - I gues I just don't demonstrate it often enough. Good job Sarah.
Do NOT beat yourself up over this. It happens to the best of us...yep, this SARA has gone through the same thing. Just last month, we bought a fridge that was too big for the kitchen...um, smart people would have measured. =)
ReplyDelete...hmmm, I actually have no idea what our hookups are either! HAHA, I didn't even know there was a gas and electric hookup difference? You can come do laundry at my house if you need some clean clothes in the meantime.
