Well, it's been a few days since I posted more sports thoughts so that's long over due by my standards. :) Sorry for the non-sports people....hahaha.
This video is totally worth watching - the whole thing is about 5 minutes, but the first 2 are my favorite so check it out. I was at home, in front of the television - couldn't sit down, bent with my hands on my knees....hoping for a miracle against LeBron and the Cavs. As soon as it went in, I started jumping around and screaming, so poor Stella scurried under the bed where she hid for at least 30 minutes. What a rush - good job Gaines!
The next sports update is not happy....unless you live under a rock (or don't watch football on Sunday....or I guess don't watch football at all - weird), you saw the Dallas Cowboys lose today. Their season is officially over. It may have been specifically related to the fact that I took a crack at Brett Favre earlier on my blog...and now he came back to beat us. Coincidence? Maybe. Anyway, the loss made for a sad day in Sarah-town.
I'm now cheering for the Colts in the AFC and the Chargers in the NFC (if they hold on to their game today - as I am writing this while they're still playing against the Jets).
Also on a sports-related update, NBA All-Star weekend is almost here. I am so excited....I love it!
On a non-sports note, thanks to those that dropped me sweet notes or called to offer help after my discouraged post last week. I appreciate it very much. I know that patience is a virtue I don't possess so I am trying to view this opportunity as a way to develop more. Hopefully things will get settled soon so I will feel less scattered (physically and mentally).
